Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 + 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3 + 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder (approx. 15g)
  • 1 tablespoon of crystal sugar
  • 1 + 1/4 cups of milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 tablespoons of butter (melted)

Directions

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together in a large bowl.
  2. Make a well in the center and add milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until smooth.
  3. Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium-high heat, then scoop the batter onto the pan.
  4. Cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Flip and cook until browned on the other side. Repeat with remaining batter.
